I have worked as a therapist for over 20 years with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings including schools, mental health clinics, and private practice. Incorporated into my work is a long standing interest and study of numerous spiritual philosophies including Buddhism, Pathwork, and mystical traditions of all sorts. Also, informing my work is a strong interest in the mind-body-spirit connection, energy work, and various other healing modalities. I am also find creative expression to be a powerful tool in the healing process. In therapy together we may use techniques such as mindfulness practices, visualizations, dreamwork, art, CBT(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), or DBT(Dialectical Behavior Therapy). I also have a special love for working with women around issues such as self-esteem, anxiety, body image, life transitions, and self-actualization. Additionally, I have a passion for the healing power of nature and animals.
